THE JOURNEY

My spiritual journey began in the wake of the profound loss of my son to suicide in 2013. Driven by a deep need to understand what happens after we die, my grief journey took me on a search to find meaning and connection beyond the physical realm. Here are some key aspects of my journey:
Seeking Answers and Understanding:  After the tragic loss of my son, I felt an urgent need to explore the mysteries of life and death. I delved into various spiritual teachings, philosophies, and practices to find answers and solace.
Engaging with Spiritual Communities: I connected with others who had similar experiences, sharing insights and finding solace in collective wisdom.
Meditation and Mindfulness: These practices became essential tools for navigating my grief, helping me to stay present and open to spiritual insights.
Personal Revelations: Through dreams, signs, and moments of profound clarity, I experienced personal revelations that deepened my belief in a continued existence beyond death.
     Embracing Interfaith Perspectives
:

My journey led me to embrace an interfaith approach, recognizing the value and wisdom in multiple spiritual traditions. This openness allowed me to integrate diverse beliefs and practices into my own spiritual path.
Becoming an Ordained Interfaith Minister: In my quest for deeper understanding and to help others, I became an Ordained Interfaith Minister. This role enabled me to offer spiritual support and guidance to those navigating their own grief and loss.
Founding From Grief to Hope: In 2017, I founded From Grief to Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting grieving parents, spouses, and families. My spiritual insights and experiences became the foundation for the organization’s mission and programs.
Writing and Sharing My Journey: I authored the book “Journey from Grief to Hope,” where I share my personal story and the spiritual insights I gained along the way. The book serves as a guide for grieving parents, offering comfort and understanding.
Continuing Spiritual Growth: My spiritual journey is ongoing, as I continue to explore and deepen my understanding of life, death, and the afterlife.  My work as a Certified Professional Intuitive Grief Educator and Coach allows me to support others on their own spiritual and grief journeys.
Integrating Spiritual Practices: Throughout my journey, I have integrated various spiritual practices into my daily life, such as meditation, prayer, and rituals. These practices help me maintain a sense of connection and peace.
Building a Community: My journey has also been about building a community of support. Through From Grief to Hope, I have created a space where grieving individuals can come together, share their experiences, and find solace in their shared journey.
The grief journey is ongoing.  It’s a path that evolves over time, and each person’s experience is unique. For me, this journey has been about continuously seeking understanding, embracing spiritual growth, and finding ways to support others who are also navigating their grief.
My wish for everyone on this grief journey is that you find moments of peace and solace amidst the pain. May you discover the strength within yourself to navigate the waves of grief, and may you feel the support and love of those around you.
I hope you find meaningful ways to honor your loved ones and that your journey leads you to a place of healing and hope. Remember, you are not alone, and there is a community here to support you every step of the way.

With compassion and hope,
